Pursue Deeds, Not Fame

The world is full of persons who believe they are stars and famous, and these fellows become regular feasts for media men and women. They are called stars, celebrities, etc; and usually this gets into their heads, and many of them end up mis-behaving and becoming societal outcasts. We need not call names, afterall every reader has got one or more of such person in his or her vicinity.

The problem is that man's ego often gets on his way of further progress and development as soon as the one is made to believe that he has attained a great height, and he allows this to 'get into his head'.

Then there are also some others who seem to clamour for publicity so much that they 'crown'themselves stars and propagate their status everywhere. Unfortunately those more guilty of this are the fellows who parade themselves as called to serve humanity in the religious circles. These days they now pubslish every next programme with their photographs and that of their wife, conspicuously exhibited, and ofcourse with chains upon chains of titles, often self imposed. No where do you see emphasis put on the Word of Truth which their calling in supposed to be based upon.

The simple reason these things happen is because many people forget that the most important thing to pursue should be deeds. Deeds of noble nature, that will impact positively on other people's lives. Creation and the Spiritual Laws record and take account of the deeds of men; and it is through such deeds that one may become, in the eyes of the Laws of Creation, a called one, and a star.

Achievements are meant for the glorification of creation and the Creator, not ourselves. The moment we turn the gaze and focus upon ourselves, then the human ego, which always seeks for vain glorifications. Then also the next danger comes in, which is that we then limit our ability to tap into the numerous helps lying in wait in Creation. Creation already has all the abundance that each one of us can tap into, but one of the tools to achieve this tapping into creation resources, is humility and purity of heart. In humility we acknowledge that we are only tools in the mighty Hand of The Almighty Creator; and that we are grateful for being permitted to be useful at all in creation.

Then ultimately fame may come, but by the time it comes, we are inwardly equipped to handle its trappings, and not let it overwhelm us.

RISE WITH EASTER

Easter should become a symbolical moment for each one of us to re-dedicate him or herself to personal growth and development. This starts inwardly first. It matters not how many Easters, drinks and food are shared during the festivities; rather what matters is how much of inner resolve one is able to make on the path of rising above petty weaknesses, and sometimes very challenging propensities.

These weaknesses and propensities are what eventually become like cogs in the personal wheel of progress. They will affect ones business, career, vocation, and ultimately, ones personality. Indeed, the things that destroy and checkmate man's success come more from inside man than from outside.

As Easter is celebrated again on earth therefore, it should also be a moment for each one to resolve to also awaken more the virtues and great potentials lying dormant within. It takes inner discipline and resolve. It takes an understanding of the laws of success in Creation which says that "as you sow, so shall you reap". This law is not a religious object, but a life support instrument which is relevant in business, family and in society generally.

SUCCESS HABIT

Is it not amazing how many of us strive to achieve success, and yet many are unwilling to do what it takes! Success is a function or, let us say, a product of successive actions carried out in a particular direction.

The first challenge is to determine in what direction to channel these actions. Often you are told to follow the tracks hewn by successful people, as you cannot reinvent the wheel. This method may help a little, atleast it will help you avoid the mistakes others may have made. But I learnt long ago that mistakes also have their value and benefits.

In some situations, your best guide, indeed in all situations, is your intuition. It is that inner voice, which simply tells you what to do, and never explains why. You have noticed this when you met a new acquaintance; and then 'something'in you told you to be careful about this person. It could also happen when you about to close a deal. Always watch out for what your intuition is saying to you. Often it will guide you towards your passion and help you succeed.

A New Day

Each day brings forth with it very unique opportunities in its wonderous promises, waiting for you and I to call them forth into realities. These are in the fact that the day allows each of us a new start, or renewed energy to continue of things already started, usually after a night of contemplative repose. It is the order in creation.

In this way each one then creates a tapestry of threads of fate; call them threads of deeds, which represent his or her sowings on each such day. Like seeds scattered by the diligent hands of the farmer, these threads of deeds then germinate, blossom and flower for reaping in due harvest.

With this knowledge, each day then becomes a cherished opportunity to express gratitude to God Almighty, and then utilize in affecting others in positive ways. Be wise.

इन थे Beginning

All men are here on earth to gain experiences, through varied interactions between man and man on the one hand, and man and creation, which includes forces and laws existing in Creation. Every experience could be beneficial or not, according to how man reacts or adapts to it.

One interesting thing to note in all these is that man 'cannot not experience'. THis sounds like a tongue twister. But it simply seeks to let us know that we, you and I, cannot suspend our experiencing for a single second, and only jump start again at will, when we desire. For example, whether you like it or not, depending on which part of the globe you habit, rain would fall, and flood the environment. The fact that rain fell, would bring about growth of grasses and trees. Or, it could be snow falls. When it does occur, it may keep you indoors, and you could develop cold related ailments.

So, in effect, these experiences and more, must come our way. The way we react to them, determines what wealth of wisdom we have gained from them.Even reading this piece of article, is an experience to the reader. What he or she makes of it, then forms the foundation for wise existence.
